Genialcloud Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how Genialcloud, including Genialcloud Signal, handles personal information and data received through Google and YouTube integrations.

Scope and controller

This Privacy Policy applies to Genialcloud and its connected applications, including the Genialcloud Signal Social Signal YouTube integration and Campaign Signal Google integrations. Avantune operates Genialcloud and is responsible for the information described in this policy.

Google and YouTube data we access

When a channel owner chooses to connect a YouTube account, Genialcloud accesses only the information needed for the features the owner has authorized:

• OAuth access tokens and refresh tokens, allowing the connected account to remain connected;
• the connected channel identifier, channel name, and public channel information;
• video identifiers, titles, descriptions, thumbnails, visibility, publishing, and processing status; and
• basic video performance information, such as view, like, comment, favourite, and engagement totals.

When a business user connects Google services in Campaign Signal, Genialcloud may also access the authorized user's Google Analytics 4, Google Search Console, and Google Ads account and reporting data needed to provide the selected Campaign Signal features.

How we use this information

We use Google and YouTube data only to provide connected-account features. These include connecting an authorized YouTube channel, uploading a video explicitly selected by the user, retrieving upload status and video information, managing video metadata, and deleting a video only when the owner explicitly requests it.

We use GA4 and Search Console data to display read-only account, property, traffic, and search-performance insights. Where enabled by the user, we use Google Ads account data for Campaign Signal features.

We do not sell Google or YouTube data, use it for advertising, or use it to train generalized artificial-intelligence or machine-learning models. Genialcloud's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy , including the Limited Use requirements.

Sharing, transfer, and disclosure of Google user data

Genialcloud does not sell, rent, or share Google or YouTube user data with third parties for their own use, marketing, or advertising.

Google and YouTube user data may be accessed or disclosed only:

• to the connected account owner through features the owner has chosen to use;
• to authorized Avantune and Genialcloud personnel who need access to operate, support, maintain, or secure the service;
• to contracted hosting, backup, security, or technical service providers that process data solely on Avantune's behalf and under confidentiality and security obligations; or
• where disclosure is required by applicable law or necessary to protect the security, rights, or integrity of Avantune, Genialcloud, and our users.

We do not transfer Google or YouTube user data to any third party for its independent use.

How we protect information

OAuth refresh tokens are encrypted when stored. Access is limited to the connected account owner and authorized Genialcloud operators. Data is transmitted over HTTPS in production. We use access controls and operational safeguards designed to prevent unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, or loss.

Retention and deletion

We retain an OAuth connection only while the related account remains connected. Disconnecting the account removes its stored refresh token promptly.

Channel, video, analytics, and reporting information remains only while the related Genialcloud record is retained and may be removed through the application by an authorized user or administrator. Deleted information may remain in encrypted backups for no more than 120 days before those backups expire or are overwritten.

Your choices

You may disconnect your YouTube or Google account in Genialcloud at any time, which stops future access. You may also revoke Genialcloud's access in your Google Account security settings. Revoking access can prevent connected features from working until you authorize the connection again.
